One of my friends told me recently that at about 12 weeks you aren't supposed to be sleeping on your back anymore. I googled it (of course lol) and didn't find anything conclusive😑. Just wondering if I'm forcing myself to sleep on my side for a reason lol 😁

It can cut off blood supply to your legs because the baby rests inn a major artery. My doctor told me my body would let me know if I shouldn't sleep on my back. Keep your right side slightly elevated (so you lean to the left) and you'll be fine.

I slept on my back until 20 or so weeks. But sometimes I would wake up on myback even at 35-38! The I would just roll over.

I'm 32 weeks and still sleep on my back sometimes. If it were hurting you. You would know.

Lol it depends how big the mother is at that time.  Some woman are bigger earlier it all depends on the person and what makes them comfy.

Yes they say you shouldn't, because it cuts off some blood flow but it doesn't stop it compleatly. I almost passed out at my anatomy scan because I was flat on my back and she was pressing real hard, because she had to. So I tend not to lay flat anymore lol

I slept on my back my whole pregnancy after 20 weeks it was accidental but my daughter was fine.
