Rather not take the chances of my baby getting it. Took a little bit to get my other half on side - which I showed him the video of the baby suffering from it. I have also requested any family or friends that haven't flu vaccinated or Whooping cough vaccinated that they will have to wait to see Bub until his a bit more older.

Yes, whooping cough is FAR too easy for a newborn to catch and they can easily die from it. Not risks I'm willing to take.

I'm getting it at 29 weeks when it's safe and the baby is big enough. I don't want to take any risks. I had the shot 5 years ago and it was fine.

It's mandatory so yes, I recently was vaccinated. If you've ever had any type of lung issues before such as bronchitis or pneumonia, you know how difficult it is for an adult to fight. It can take a month to feel better. If there is a chance to prevent something similar to that happening to an infant, who would require weeks-months of hospital time to get over, this is a smart preventative.

Yes and because I know a baby that died from it. If it can be prevented, then I am gonna do whatever it takes to have a healthy baby.

Yes I got mine around 34 weeks and it helps not only your immune system but the babies build up antibodies against it so baby will be able to fight it off once they're born
