Letting "men be men"
Shocked at how often I see "well that's just how men are" on here as an excuse for all sorts of things: laziness, staying out partying, watching poem, or just being jerks in general.
Men are people and it's ridiculous to act like they can't control their actions. It's belittling and dismissive and shows them a complete lack of respect. I can't imagine not expecting my husband to be able to maintain standards of common decency and I plan on raising my son to know he is and should be responsible for his actions.
Sheesh. Sorry for the rant but it blows my mind.
