Sorry if this is tmi!!

Okay so last week on the Wednesday I believe I may of lost my mucus plug. I'm not 100% sure though. I noticed it when I wiped. It was a browny/orange sticky mucus looking thing. At this point I was 32 weeks + 3 days! I went to the hospital as my friend made me go and get checked out and they said that if it was the mucus plug then it's completely normal and I have nothing to worry about. Now fast forward to the weekend I've noticed that every time I go to the toilet I have a very strong urine smell in my knickers. (I am now 33 weeks.) My friend did mention that after losing the mucus plug you can sometimes leak. Is this true? Is it something to be worried about? I've not been in any pain or anything. Maybe it's just me being paranoid. I've got my 34 week appointment this Wednesday with my midwife. Thankyou.
