Breastfeeding and drinking?

I'm new to breastfeeding so I wanna ask. I had 2 beers last night and now I'm scared to feed my daughter I have milk in the fridge that I stored. But when can i feed her from me?

I plan on getting the alcohol test strips. That way I will with 100% certainty that my milk is safe for baby.

My pediatrician said that I could drink one or two beers and the baby will be fine. I drank 3 at the most and spaced them out once and she had no effects. If you have milk in freezer just feed her that and then the next feeling let her feed from the breast if you are concerned

It takes 1 hour per 1 unit of alcohol to leave your system, you technically can feed straight away but if you want to sure then you'd only need to wait a few hours anyway. Hope that helps 😊

I have heard of you are sober enough to drive you are sober enough to nurse. If I have a drink I try to do it right after nursing to get it out of my system as much as I can before having to feed again
