Testing again

Okay so me and my partner have been trying for a baby, my period is late and I have no signs at all that is coming like I normally do, I have done test but all have been negative so I left it a few days but I want to test again but I don't know if I should I don't want to see another negative but something in my head and heart says to do another test. What should I do?
