We have to be out of our current apartment and into our new place by the end of day on the 17th...no family or friends nearby (we're from Boston MA, living in Sacramento CA) to watch the baby or help us pack/clean/move. Money is super super tight as I had to quit my job to take care of the baby, so we can't afford to pay someone to babysit or to pay movers. He's such a light sleeper that I can only do quiet things during his naps, which usually only last 20-45 minutes anyway. He cries if I walk away from him, plus he's trying to learn to crawl and constantly backs himself into, under, or on top of things and gets stuck. If I put him in his crib he ends up bumping his head on the bars quickly. Has anyone moved while also caring for a young baby? I'm thinking about posting a flier in our apartment complex offering like $50 to help my boyfriend carry the heavy stuff that requires 2 lifters but even if we find someone, that won't help with moving all the other stuff, cleaning, or unpacking at the new place. We also need to get a fridge and washer/dryer. If we can't find heavy-lifting help I have no idea how we'll manage. Ughh
