Want control of baby photos?

Is it wrong of me to tell my mom that my husband and I will only be taking pictures of the baby/birth off of our camera and don't want pictures circulating around before we personally do so ourselves? It will only just be hubby and her other than myself .

Not at all! We have asked all family and friends to not post any photos on social media of our child, even after its born. We want to be in control of what is shared, and with whom. That is totally your right as a parent, and others should respect that.

I'm the same. I want the first pic on social media to be from dad and I. Once we post the rest of the family can do whatever they want! I just don't want to be rushed into doing it either so I'm telling everyone to just chill. First baby on both our sides so we have a lot of eager family lol

My cousin refuses to have any pictures of her children on social media PERIOD and 3 babies 4 years later not a single picture has come up. And she lives in Europe and her family is all here, we've all managed just fine with her wishes being followed.

I don't think it is wrong. I also dont see it being realistic if you have a good amount of people there. It will only be my SO and best friend (who is more like a sister) so we will have more control of when a picture gets posted.
