BELLY RINGS- anybody else??

I have a pregnancy belly ring its plastic and for some reason my body is still regecting it. Its all dark around the holes and it hurts... Should I just take it out?? Lol any opinions? Has anybody else gone through this

Plastic ones aren't good for your body in general it should be stainless steel.

I got mine re done then 9 months after I found out I was 17 weeks pregnant so just took it out!

You're bodies more focused on the baby so I'd honestly take it out, you'll have to during labor anyways and the skin gets so thin the bigger you get so it might tear.

I have a regular belly ring in and its getting dark around the holes so it just might be a thing not really anything to do with the plastic. Mine is sore to but I'm getting a plastic and going to keep it in the whole time

I have a plastic one in now and haven't had any issues.  I see myself needing to take it out at some point though.  I got it done in 2001 so it will probably stay open would be my guess.  Just trying to give it a better chance at staying open by keeping something in there as long as possible.  If it is causing issues I recommend taking it out though.  If an infection does occur you will need to take antibiotics etc.

If you've had it for a long time it probably won't close. I've had mine for like 10 years now and I take it out for months at a time sometimes and it never closes.

I took mine out when I was about 16 weeks. What's the point of having it once your belly gets bigger? Looked weird. I'm 35 weeks now.

Same thing happened to my sister when she was pregnant, she didn't take hers out and thought it would be fine. But her body completely rejected it and pushed it out of her skin. It was really gross and infected and a mess. I would take it out if I were you.

I just took mine out. Let it close up. I figured once my son was here. If he saw it or what not. He might want to pull on it. Lol
