Induce labor 36 wks 3days

How can I induce my own labor safely my cervix is nowhere near dialated. Both my ankles and feet are shiny and swollen, my fingers are numb, lower back &hip pain, vaginal pain.... What can I do ladies? My ob said since I'm high risk they'll be inducing me Aug 25, 2016. But I want to see my princess now Because I can't sleep comfortably. My legs hurt when I sleep on my side omg the last couple weeks are horrible
