I'm gonna start off by saying I have been calling off more than normal, bc this pregnancy is kicking my butt. I never ever called off before this, though, and I've been at this job over 2 years. I also have never just not shown up without calling off.

I'm 36 weeks pregnant. Tonight at 815 a nurse from where I work (not even a supervisor) called me to see if I was coming in tonight (at 11) to my scheduled shift! When I said yes she said "okay good I just wanted to see bc we have to cancel someone bc we have too many people, but I wanted to make sure everyone was going to show up"

So she called the 36 week pregnant lady and woke me up, to ask if I was coming to my scheduled shift, instead of waiting until 9 to cancel someone (like she's supposed to) since that's the time people have to call off by. And on top of that informed me she's going to cancel someone but not me.. LIVID is an understatement. I couldn't get back to sleep either. It's gonna be a long night.
