How long did it take for you to recover from your c section?

Gave birth to my beautiful
Girly in an emergency c section on Friday! This recovery is no joke! Can't wait to be back to my normal self!

Full recovery took me a year! I had to go for a scan to check wverything was okay as when I exercised I had pulling on my right side .. Currently pregnant with number two and pray for a normal birth and not having to go through it again!

One week my doctor was like wow am I that good or it's just your skin. Never took pain meds at home . I guess everyone is different

It took me about 3 full weeks to feel completely normal again. I could barely walk from the couch to the bathroom before that point. Hang in there and keep up on your pain meds if they gave you any. Don't wait till you feel sore to take them.

My first was an emergency c section, and 2 weeks before I felt like I could take care of my son and myself without help. My second was planned, and I felt great in just a few days. We even made a trip to the zoo when my daughter was 6 days old and I walked the whole thing. Though I did have someone else push the stroller.

It took me about 2 weeks after both of mine to feel normal again. My incision site was a little sensitive for awhile , but other then that I was good after 2 weeks.
