Antibiotics for acne? Has anyone tried them?

My doctor reccomended I try antibiotics for my acne, but I've never been on antibiotics for anything so I'm scared. Have any of you guys ever been on antibiotics for acne? Did they work? Any side effects?

Hair skin and nails by spring Valley worked for me. It's 10$ and it's a vitamin you can get at Walmart. I've tried minocycline before and it cleared it 100% then my body got used to it and it stopped working. It just depends on how your body reacts to it. My body gets used to allergy medicine after a certain amount of time also. I recommend minocycline, though. 😊🙄

It cleared my acne for the most part but now I'm left with a little scarring on my cheeks. It's definitely worth it to give them a try

I tried them when I was a teenager and yes they did help! Its been so long that I can't recall any side effects but a combination of that, and some creams my Dr gave me had my skin clear
