Is it safe to move at 8 months pregnant?

We're moving Saturday 😁 I'll be 34 weeks!!!
I packed up the apartment by myself to surprise my husband and my back is KILLING ME!!! I don't think anyone is actually gonna show up to help on Saturday, so my question is can I help load and unload the moving truck? Or will the walking and back pain send me into labor or hurt my baby? I hate when my hubby has to do everything by himself, no one gives him a break, so I really want to! 💔

You can help,  but no heavy lifting... take frequent breaks... careful of stairs and going up and down!

KNOW YOUR LIMITS. Set a timer for breaks and set a water goal that's higher than normal. And make sure you stick to it. Because if you push too hard you're going to be physically laid up, unable to even move without pain in the pelvis and back, and be useless, surrounded by boxes begging to you unpack them. Take it easy on yourself!

Honey im outside today putting a new front end on my car and im 34 weeks tomorrow just dont lift to much weight and stay cool hydrated and take breaks every so often

We will be moving when baby is 39 weeks! So my advice is take it easy, you don't need to hurt yourself or start labor in the process. Accomplish a little here and there, rest when you can and stay hydrated 💙

I am actually moving this weekend. I will be 38+4 ... I'll just be taking it slow, not doing anything extreme! Just remember, only you know your body's limits. Don't try to do anything you think is too hard. You don't want to hurt yourself or baby.

My husband wouldn't let me lift boxes even if I wanted to. I probably would though because I'm stubborn but nothing over your weight limit. I thinks it's also important to call and check with your OB first before you do anything

I'll be moving stuff around 37wks and plan on helping. Since it is all mine and my kids stuff. Just don't lift anything too heavy. Drink plenty of water and rest every 20-30mins.

I'm 36 weeks and 4 days and we are in the process of moving into our new house. We have nobody able to help us so it is literally us and our 3 kids moving stuff. My husband carries as much as he can. But I've been carrying boxes and chairs and even helped carry in the couches. It didn't feel good and I'm dead at the end of the day, severe back and pelvic pain. But what other option is there?

If you have someone to help you, then do what you're comfortable with.
