I am 35 weeks pregnant and today I have been losing what I think may be my mucus plug in chunks throughout the day. This is my 3rd pregnancy, and I surely do not remember what it looked like with any of my other pregnancies, but it's mucusy discharge that's yellow like snot (tmi) and thick and gooey. But now I am spotting, it's not the same consistency as the other discharge, and cramping and having irregular contractions. Is this normal after losing my plug?
