How soon after a vaginal delivery can someone resume driving?

I'm glad you asked this question. I'm 31 weeks this Thursday and I don't feel safe anymore to drive, so I stopped. I lucky enough have that opportunity. As for after the delivery, I would think as soon as you feel well enough. I would just listen to your own body, everyone heals differently.

I believe there is nothing saying that you can't do it right away, I guess it depends on how safe and comfortable you feel to. After my birth, I couldn't bear any weight down whilst sitting, so it was no good for me to drive until 10 days post partum! Take it easy😊

It's fine to drive as long as you don't take pain medicine before.

I was pretty much fine right after birth. I drove as Doon as I stopped taking my percocets lol. Maybe a few days

I drove myself home after my first born! So it was 2 days later lol

I did when I was released from the hospital and that was 2 days after having my son.  I would think as soon as the hospital discharges you, unless otherwise told not to.

I was told that you shouldn't for like a week but it was just a weird precautionary thing and I drove anyways and I was fine. I don't even remember what the reason was.
