fluctuations in milk supply?

Hello

The Last 3 days I've been struggling to make any milk cause lo is constantly hungry and he lost weight ..:: (and I can feel my breasts empty ) but today I am sooo engorged and just in one day LO gained 11 oz!!  Just feel like LO was starving the last few days and today he was overeatring

He is one month and 3 days old. Is it supposed to be like this ??? Just feels weird and I haven't started pumping yet cause he won't take a bottle anyways.

Honestly I wouldn't be worried too much, as long as they are eating then weight will come in due time. Breathe deep and relax and drink at least 4 litres of water a day. I supplement myself with blessed thistle supplements, it's to help with flow. I also have fennel and fenugreek teas. I feel our society stresses too much on micro management, we need to go with the flow more.

I feel like mine is all over too. All day she nurses from both breasts at a time and my boobs feel empty and she looks like she is starving. And at night my boobs get engorged every hour and she only nurses from one breast. It's like they produce way more milk at night!

My boobs and supply are all over the place too. Doc said it was normal for 3-6 weeks of age

How are his pees and poops?  If he is getting at least 6 wet pee diapers a day he is feeding juuuust fine. :). I know it can be hard to feel comfortable not knowing how much milk is coming out, but just rely on the diapers to tell you he is getting enough!
