Pumping

So my baby is due 10th December and recently I've been thinking about feeding etc.

When he/she is born I would like to breast feed if all goes well.

However, I've also been thinking about pumping as an option for a few reasons like I know my husband wants to feed the baby and I think it will help while out and about.

I've read a few reviews with people saying electric pumping is painful but manual not at all.

Please can I have people's opinions on this ? Have you done it yourself and how did you find it? Did you feel it was a waste of money or the best thing you could have done?

I can see benefits from it and the only negative I can see is that if I don't get on with it it's a waste of money.
