Hit and run

So yesterday me and hubby went to store and some hit my car and run away I was in lots of pain one side of my lower back the officer and fire fighter arrive and the ambulance but I refuse to go the hospital and tried tough it out but some how I couldn't even sleep last night do to my back in so much pain, if I got that person license plate number will the police find them?? I'm not so mad about the car but I'm so piss off how the way they just run away knowing that I'm pregnant. First they trying to get my information but my husband said no you're not the cop we gonna wait until the police get here and call the police that's when they took off.
