Could I have a vbac if I got pregnant when my son is 9months old?

Absolutely. My son was a year when I got pregnant again and I had an amazing drug-free VBAC

You *can* but it really depends on your doctor.  Most docs want at least 2 years in between births to feel comfortable with a vbac. I tried with my second, my kids are little over 2 years apart. My doc was good with it until I was 39 weeks and the recommended a c section because nothing was happening (hadn't dropped, no contractions, no dilation), he didnt want to me go over my due date and couldn't induce. 
I will say that my second c section was a breeze compared to my first. The first was am emergency and scary, the second was much more chill and my recovery time was like a week. 
And now I'm on #3 with an almost guaranteed c section and bummed, but resigned.

Not trying to discourage you at all, I really hope you can have a successful vbac, just wanted to let you know that the recovery may not be as bad this time and don't beat yourself up about it if it doesn't work out!
