Vaginal birth after a 4th degree tear?
Yesterday my Midwife told me to consider doing a c-section since my last labor resulted in a caught shoulder (on my pelvic bone) an episiotomy and a 4th degree tear. Has anyone had these things and then went on to deliver their second baby vaginally? If so how did it go?
(She said it was ultimately my choice but harm to the baby if another shoulder gets caught i.e loss of arm function, muscle tearing, broken collar bone and then also physical complications if I 4th degree tear again i.e reparative surgery, problems healing correctly, and even a colostomy bag in extreme cases)
