I've had what I thought was the perfect name picked out for my baby girl since the beginning of my pregnancy. When I mentioned it to my SO he was mostly on board but wanted to consider others. He has since decided that he doesn't want to use it. To be fair, I also told him I don't want to use his favorite name... I just don't like it!

I thought I was doing really well with letting go of my favorite name and we have mostly settled on one that we both like but as I get closer to my due date I'm realizing I'm still very attached to my favorite name and can't seem to let it go! I like the other name we have picked out but it just doesn't feel like THE name to me.

Has anyone ever been in this situation? What did you do? Should I mention it to him again?
