Not dilating..

I'm getting so impatient while waiting for her to come!! Got checked today and still not dilated. doc said cervix is getting softer but If I don't go on my own by due date (September 3rd) we'll induce 6th or 7th. Anyone else not dilating? Or haven't lost mucus plug yet? FTM so maybe she'll just be late😳
