Version?

Question

So I'm 36wks and 4 days today and baby is still breach. We got an option to do a version, basically turning the baby, are there any moments out there that have maybe done this and everything turned out fine? I'm a little paranoid to do it but I want to so I can have a natural birth, I'm terrified to get a c section if he doesn't turn.

I had a version done with my second at 39 weeks because she didn't want to flip herself. Yes, it hurt a lot, but it was only for a few minutes. They got her flipped and I was able to deliver her vaginally a week later. I'm pregnant with my fourth and this little stinker has decided to be breech as of my 36 week appointment yesterday. I am doing all the stuff from spinningbabies.com for this next week to try to get him to flip on his own before my scheduled version next week. Even if I can't get him to flip, what I am doing is supposed to help the version have a better chance of being successful. I am not excited about another version, but I for sure would much rather try it first before going right to c-section.

Mine was scheduled for 9am this morning but when I showed up, they did an u/s and he had flipped on his own between Monday afternoon and this morning!!

I was ready to do a version though. They're very careful, they check so thoroughly but if it means you might be able to avoid a c section, I figure it's worth trying. It's a personal preference though!
