Hey girls I jus found out I'm pregnant! Question?

I'm a 1st time mom to be yay! I am 4weeks 6 days and 35 more weeks to go lol 
My question is around how many weeks or months am I sopose to make a doctors appointment? and do I go with my regular Dr. First or straight to a OBGYN? And I heard u can start taking prenatal vitamins? already or just wait till Drs. Tell me to?

Start prenatals ASAP.. My OBGYN recommended that I be taking them for at least 3 months before trying to conceive(it took us a year). Definitely don't wait to be told to take them. If you do not already have an OB I would call one that you know delivers at the hospital of your choice (and is covered by your insurance) ASAP. It can often take longer to get in as a new patient as the generally only have so many new patient slots available. The OB generally will want to see you between 8 and 12 weeks.

Go ahead and start taking prenatals. The otc kind were cheaper than the ones my Dr prescribed and the same stuff. I recommend taking them at night b4 bed with a small snack. Also you can go ahead and call now, they may send you for bloodwork but either way they will go ahead and set you up with an appt but may have to wait til 8 to 12 weeks to be seen. And call an obgyn.

Go ahead and make an appointment. Most docs will see you around 8 weeks. I'd go straight to an OB but make sure your insurance doesn't require a referral. You can start prenatals whenever you like. Just discuss that at your first appointment because some women take prescription prenatals.

I just found out on Saturday and I'm only a couple weeks. Went to CareNet to get it confirmed and called prenatal clinic the next day. You can call to make an appointment right away 😃

You want to make an appointment with your OB-GYN ASAP because they usually take about a month to give you an appointment your prenatals take them as soon as you can :) congrats
