Perming hair???

To all my ladies with relax hair, did you all still perm your hair while pregnant???

As a stylist, ( now pregnant ) 
Perms and relaxers are the strongest chemicals with doing hair . I would advise not doing it while pregnant if the chemicals touch your scalp. I would suggest doing a Brazilian blowout or even more natural remedies until the baby is born . Better to be safe than sorry . Different people react differently .

I would talk to your doctor. Perms use a lot of chemicals and having them on your skin and inhaling them may not be good. I used to get them and my god I can still smell that perm odour in my mind.

I haven't had a perm since January. When I found out I was expecting, now my hair is so curly I love it!! Thinking of going natural now!!

Go for it, just keep the room ventilated with a window open.  *I'm holding off on color, but only because I'm sure the smell at this point would set me off, most hair treatments these days are safer than they were.
