So,my sister is 31 with no kids. Im 30 with a 7yr old. She told me that its a bad idea to lie to my daughter about Santa,Easter Bunny or even the tooth fairy. She saud kids should grow up knowing the truth right off the bat and the truth is Mommy puts money under the pillow not the tooth fairy,presents come from Mommy not Santas workshop and so on. She also said her kids will never do Halloween because its all make believe. Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy? Part of growing up is the excitement of all the fun make believe things. Eventually they all learn the truth,whats the harm in having fun with your kids and enjoying their innocent minds? Im hoping when she has lids things will change,It would be so unfair to them :(
