Thank you for all the comments! This really has brought clarity and some sense to me. Being that she's my daughter I can't help but to feel protective, how I always was with my step son. I feel bad knowing that I was the one pushing him away while his dad was trying very hard to include him in every way, ways that I saw was a form of ignoring his daughter. But that wasn't the case now, I see. I guess I'll apologize and own up to my shit 😭😭😭😭
