Is anyone else in an intercultural relationship?

I'm an American girl dating a Japanese guy. We've been dating about a year and a half, I've even moved to Japan for work and to be closer to him once he left the states. Since we've been dating a while I've started to notice cultural differences that come up over time and have just been thinking about how to work out those situations. Does anyone else have some experience with this too in their relationship?
