Does red raspberry leaf tea really work?!

Im 40 weeks today and im thinking about trying this tea. Ftm! Any other mommas try this and it work?!

I took red raspberry leaf tea with both my son's,  but I started at the beginning of my third trimester.   It tones the uterus to help create more effective contractions,  and really helped stop the bleeding.   I'm a redhead and we tend to bleed more,  why I have no idea,  but my midwife was amazed at how little I bled and I fully attribute it to red raspberry leaf tea.

If you're already 40 weeks it's probably to late to see any noticeable difference

Your supposed to drink it from 30 weeks. It just prepares the uterus for labor. It doesn't make labor come faster.

Evening primrose oil is supposed to work wonders if inserted into the vagina

I tried it, didn't work for me, and it tasted kinda funky to me lol

It doesn't jump start labor. It only helps with dilation and toning the uterus making labor easier.

You can try it..... but it is used to tone the uterus.  Usually it's started around 36 weeks. Primrose oil is used to soften and thin cervix and is started at the same time. I figure better late than never. The tea taste best with other tea with it. I believe that the oil works (although statistics are not reliable in this area). My first baby at 40 weeks my cervix was hard as a rock and not dilated at all. This time I took primrose,  and at 38 weeks, I'm stretchy and dilation is starting.  Good luck!!
