Baby with a flat head ?

(Don't mind the way I'm holding little man he is sleeping and loves his face being held lol)
It looks like my little man is getting a flat head is he the only one ? What can I do to fix it !? It worries me!

Talk  to his pediatrician if you're really concerned about it. Honestly, it doesn't look that bad to me, and that's probably what the doctor will say. Most flat heads are just an aesthetic issue and will round out on their own eventually. There's not even a real consensus on when they need helmets - one friend of mine had her baby in a helmet, and it didn't look that flat. But then my cousin's baby had a crazy flat spot that didn't go away till he was 2, and he never had a helmet. It just depends on the doctor and how much it bothers the mom, probably.

Your baby looks fine to me. He'll be rolling soon enough and won't be in one spot long enough for the flatness to get any worse.

My sons back of his head looks just like that. I'm putting him in his tummy more but that's all I can think of. I'd like to know what I can do as well.

My kiddo has a flat spot as well (he got it really early on) - he's always been a good sleeper, but he always sleeps in the exact same position. I carry him and keep him up almost all day, with good tummy time, but it's still there.

I got a special pillow for his crib and a (crash-tested) insert for his car seat. He always scoots off the pillow during the night, but I think there may be a slight improvement. Not sure. Now he's also rolling during tummy time, so it's getting harder to keep him off of the back of his head.

I'm worried a helmet may be our only option, but I really don't want to do that.

My son's flat head is worse than that. And he's at daycare all day, so it's not like I can carry him all day or put him on his tummy all day. I have one of those pillows in his crib, but at this point I've accepted the possibility that he may need a helmet. We'll see what the doctor says next month.

If your really worried then maybe look to get something like this. It might help, if not then ask your doctor because I've heard of some babies having to wear a helmet to reshape there head.

I would try putting him in a carrier rather than in a swing, car seat, bouncer, etc. Obviously he has to sleep on his back sometimes though. More tummy time will also help.
