Around 5 months ago I started taking Levest to regulate pretty horrendous periods. That part worked wonders but my skin got pretty bad in terms of acne, scars. It got so bad it gave me full blown back acne that I had to clear up using cream my doctor prescribed. I went to the doctors and he reccommened Yasmin to clear that. It's disheartening because it's making my skin slightly worse in the first month :( I know I should wait it out but I didn't have acne in the first place and id rather quit while I'm ahead on Yasmin so my skin doesn't suffer when I eventually come off of it. Does this sound like the right thing to do and just let my skin get back to its original state of being pretty clear? I will also begin to use the prescribed cream on my face to help with any spots after stopping birth control.
