So I really want to be put on birth control and so far I like the idea of the implant but I'm scared of putting it in my arm and having to take it out. It looks so weird and I'm afraid I'll be too scared to do it. Can someone ease my mind? Is it painful? Are there any side effects? How do I get placed on to birth control? Are there any birth control methods you recommend over the implant? My period is pretty regular and I'm worried it will mess up my cycle because I have a friend with the implant and she saids she gets her period like ever two months
