What did you do leading up to IVF, during, after

Question

I know about pineapple, warm feet, lots of liquids, circulation, (I've had 2 recent IUI's) Now going to have our first IVF this coming month. I really need some pointers, motivation, love, baby dust everything. My RE said to come in when I start my period (usually the 4-5th) ...
When do I start my injections, meds etc...

For my IUI I started my meds like day 1 or 2 usually of CD.

I'm sure all those things help but I think the most important thing is to stay calm. I talked to my embryologist about the pineapple, warm fluid, and warm feet stuff. She said I could do it but not to stress. The best thing is to be happy and not to produce stress hormones. She told me to eat food and do things that make me happy and to eat 5 small meals a day and embryos love sugar. So that's what I did and I didn't stress about the other stuff and I got pregnant. So do what you think will help or make you happy but don't do it if its going to stress you out. Good luck to you!!!

Warm feet, stay hydrated and most importantly try and stay relaxed and stress free. Personally, I'm a worrisome person and I stress about the most minuscule things that aren't important, however, surprisingly I've stayed positive this entire time. I did first time IVF as well. I started June 2016. After my initial consult my re told me to call with my first period as well which I did and the next day I had bloodwork done and a ultrasound. On the next day I started taking birth control pills. Took it 2 weeks and then my injections started after that for about another two weeks. The injections were not as bad as I thought it would be. If you have a lot of pain ice the area your going to inject a few minutes before and every day switch your injection area so it's a new spot everyday. I would just close my eyes and picture my baby and I would be ok 😃and my hubby did the injections for me. After two weeks and close monitoring my re saw my follicles were ready to be retrieved I had my er on July 21. After er  I stayed home and relaxed for two days and had a heating pad to help with the pain and of course hubby waiting on me was great. 😜  I had 9 eggs retrieved, 5 fertilized and I choice to do a frozen transfer so two out of my five embryos made it to freeze. I've been waiting since then to transfer 😭. Immediately I was told to take progesterone suppositories which I took for one week then was told to stop. Since then I just started taking Estradiol which I take till my next follow up next week. Since I'm doing a frozen transfer for me the waits been hard because it feels like I've been waiting for a million years (since my IVF process started) but my re told me frozen transfers are more successful and worth it so after 4 years of trying to conceive waiting a few months won't kill me.
