Eczema Flare Ups?

Question

I've always had eczema on my legs, mostly because I've always been too lazy or inconsistent in applying creams that help, but since about three and a half weeks pregnant (seven weeks now) my arms have come up in patches of eczema and the skin on and around my lips has been really badly affected by the eczema aswell...

I've been using Moogoo (100% natural product) eczema and psoriasis cream because I've been told normal eczema creams contain steroids that can be harmful in pregnancy, but it's not doing a lick of good!

Is anybody else in the same boat? Have you found anything safe to use in pregnancy that actually works? I'm just about at my wits end lol.

I've suffered from eczema since being a baby - it's horrible and complete sympathise with you. I have patches on my boobs, stomach, fingers and all over my legs :-(. I apply Aveeno cream (blue one) every morning and have a weak steroid cream which I use only if a patch is really bad/itchy. So far I haven't had any major flare ups this pregnancy so I've been really lucky.

Since getting it really bad on my eyes about a year ago I've used a plain coconut moisturiser on my face and eyes and never had a problem since. It's very cooling and soothing with no stinging sensation.

There are very few moisturising products I can use but I've found Mama Mio pregnancy products nice on the skin, I apply them only once a day and very sparingly - trying to get my skin used to them! (particularly the boob lotion and tummy rub - I desperately don't want loads of stretch marks!)
