Birth plan and work?

Question

So I've been thinking since I plan on working up to a week before I'm due (I'm 35weeks) should I bring a copy of my birth plan to work to give to my boss just in case I go into labor at work?

I am a FTM, so not sure if this is actually sound advice or not... If I start having contractions at work, I plan on going home to start my early labor until the contractions get close enough to go to the hospital.

I would just put the plan in your hospital bag to go to the hospital with you. The birth plan is your wishes on delivery. If you have anything you need from your boss or coworkers specifically just talk to them. For example I actually work at the hospital I'm delivering at so I've made a contact list for my girls to call if labor happens while I'm here and they know to just get a wheelchair and take me upstairs and that's about it. The have my husband, his boss, both of our mothers, and my grandmothers phone numbers so they can get ahold of someone to let them know.
