Folic acid???

So I am almost 4 weeks pregnant I got 400mg of folic acid tablets from my pharmacy is that enough or do I need to take 2 a day? My first appointment is 14th September so have a while before I c a dr to get any x

I'm taking 800mg a day which is pretty standard so I'd take 2.

That should be enough. I'd check with a dr or pharmacist before taking 2 at a time

I take a prenatal with folic acid but I also take an extra 1,000 because that's what my fertility specialist recommended and prescribed. I'd definitely ask your doctor.
