what does the trisomy 18 1.4000 mean and the down syndrom mean? my results were negative just curious how to read this

Mean your chance of trisomy 18 chance is 1 in 40k which unlikely.

I means one in less than 57000 or whatever the other number is. Which is the best you can have. That's how my doctor explained it to me. Mine were all perfect. I got 1 in less than 5000 for all of them. I only did the quad screen though.
