Breastfeeding with pierced nipples?

So I was just wondering if any of you mamas have any experience with breastfeeding with pierced nipples? Im pregnant and I want to breastfeed my little one when he/she comes but I have pierced nipples ! Any knowledge on this at all would be helpful. Thank you so much!  😊

I had them done at 18 and let them close at around 20. When I started to be my 1st I had milk coming out of the scares from the holes. Needless to say, it was messy. Breast milk every where.

I took mine out when my breasts started to grow during pregnancy because they became painful. Now I'm 3 weeks postpartum, breastfeed perfectly well and have great supply. Milk comes out of my piercing holes too though, especially my right leaks from my piercing holes

I didn't have my nipples pierced when I had my first two but both of mine are now and I'm debating if I'll take them out or not. The first few weeks of breast feeding can be difficult and tender nipples may not like the jewelry being pushed back in after each feeding but I've also read many breast feeding moms will use open septum rings for easy removal which will be nice when baby requires immediate feedings or else the world ends lol. I really don't want to take them out, I will never get them repierced if they close but I love having them so I'll probably just deal with taking them out and putting them back in a bajillion times a day lol!!

I ended up taking mine out, it became to much of a pain to take them out and put them back in. They are closed now, hoping any scar tissue doesn't affect breastfeeding for this baby.
