I am trying not to buy newborn anything especially from Carter's because it only goes up to 8 lbs! Buying a lot of 3 - 6 months and some 0 - 3 but definitely would go bigger for a coat so you only need one. Too big is no big deal but something too small won't be able to be used at all :-/

You're not suppose to use a coat while baby is in their carseat anyway. As its unsafe. Majority of the time newborns are in their seat when they are out of the house. So I wouldn't waste money on a newborn coat.

That's so cute 😍 people tell me not to get too much newborn because he will grow out of it so fast. I'd get that in a 0-3 so it'll fit longer

12 months! 'Cause in my opinion you throw a blanket ontop of ur Baby anyway! ( at least what I do) So just a beanie and blanket is fine when newborn! You're not supposed to put an infant/toddler in a carseat with a coat on anyway! 😉 They are so tiny you wont need it and they grow in the 1st month SO fast! 👍😊

I would get it in 0-3 that way it'll most likely still fit if your baby is in newborn size, but it'll last longer since usually babies only fit into newborn clothes for a few weeks.
