Changing tables, are they really that useful?

I repainted my daughters old desk and just bought a pad....90% of the time you just change them on the floor or couch. But I do use the pad since we have hardwood floors in our living room...just grab it and leave it out there..makes it easier....but buying a actual changing table is not necessary at all

I had one and unless you force yourself to use it, you end up just using the floor most of the time. And once they are mobile it's just easier to wrestle them on the floor or a bed vs a changing table

We're going to buy a dresser and put a changing pad on top too. It's cheaper and works just as well. I feel like my fiancé will use the changing area more than I will. I can see myself just using our portable mat and changing the baby wherever lol.

Everyone told me I didn't need one, but me being me I decided to get one anyway and boy am I thankful I did. It makes changes so much more convenient I use it every time I change my baby. I would definitely recommend getting one. Plus they are cute!

Will be using the one attatched to the pack an play. Only because I'm having a c section and bending over for too long of periods could be quite painful. After that, whatever he is lying on is fine.

I got this and put a changing pad on top which fit perfectly . And I got storage boxes for the shelves . Love this thing !

We're fixing up an old collapsible table into a change table just because the floors at my mom's house are disgusting and I wouldn't even want to lay my daughter down on them with a blanket under her first. For us, one is absolutely necessary.

We have a crib changer combo and we always use the changing table. I have a bad back so it's much easier on me than changing on the floor, bed etc. And I think changing is easier with the baby laying vertically than horizontally like more changing tables are. Just depends on your lifestyle though, some people use them and some don't!

With our first we had one, it hardly got used since we were in the living room most of the time and it was in his room. Just easyer to change them were ever you are instead if having to walk to change there butts.

I didn't have one with my first and it became a must have for my second. I had more poop and pee on the bed than I cared for (and I even had down blankets!- oh breastfed poops!) I changed her on the floor a lot and it was just difficult to get up with a limp noodle sometimes. I bought a cheap one from Ikea and it's super sturdy and nice!
