Screaming baby

So for the past 2 nights when my  just over 3 week old baby wakes up he starts screaming right away which he had never done before. He's actually usually a very good baby during the night and doesn't make much noise. He's been passing gas and having bowel movements per usual (with the help of gas drops), does not have a fever, and his belly seems soft. I can't help but think it's a tummy issue, but I read somewhere it could be a growth spurt. When he wakes up I change his diaper and give him a bottle (wakes up every 3 hours), but sometimes I feel that he's not crying from hunger because he will take the bottle slowly 😩Thoughts?!
