Triggering labor

Ok...so I just want some stories from you ladies. Do you think it's best to let labor happen on its own, or is it ok to try to trigger labor? I'm just really tired of being pregnant and I want my baby girl here so bad. Part of me wants to just suck it up and let her come when she's ready, but then the other part of me just wants her out! It's my first pregnancy and I want her to be safely delivered. recommendations?
