Help! Spotting while on Letrozole?

So this i have PCOS and I start taking Letrozole last month from cd4-8 at 2.5mg but the doctor did an ultrasound and said it did not work (no follicles) so she started me that same day on  Letrozole at 5mg now to day is "cd 8" and I am bleeding (bright red) is this normal?
Is it working? Has one of you ladies experience this, I am freaking out?

I have tons of spotting on letrozole. It always freaks me out. Talk to your nurse if you are worried but dont panic :)

I’m in the same boat and this is happening to me now on my second round of letrozole at 5mg I just started yesterday after the 2.5mg failed. I’m having spotting now, did you end up pregnant?

This is my first cycle on Letrozole. Usually (if) I ovulate cd18-19. But cd 17 I got a day of very heavy spotting. Even put in a tampon. Last time I got mid cycle bleeding, it was because I didn't ovulate and my period came early... So my initial thought was, "dammit, Letrozole didn't work, either", but less than 24 hours later the spotting stopped. 🤔🤔🤔 Probably still an annovulatory cycle, but it would be nice to have more than a week without a period between medicated cycles 🙄

I've never had that experience. I would call your doctor's office in the morning to ask what he thinks. I've had to take multiple rounds of letrozole in the same cycle a couple of times also
