PMS vs. Preggers?
Hey ladies! Ok, so this is a long one, but felt it necessary to explain the details so that you sweet gals can answer my questions as best you can! (Which I totally appreciate more than you know!) So here goes....
I've been having the weirdest cycle symptoms happening the last four weeks, and it's not normal for me at all! I never have any symptoms of PMS, I never cramp, get sore breasts, feel irritable/moody, headaches, gets cravings, become a monster, none of that! The ONLY symptom I get is the act of a period itself (the blood) 😝
And since my bf got home from being gone for four months, we've been having a lot of sex and we only use the withdrawal method of BC bc I don't have health insurance and I can't afford BC bc I'm not working (so no Dr appt's for me either right now), and he just started working a few weeks ago so money is very very tight. Anyway, that's besides the point. So, I got my period in late July, a week after he got home, which was a month ago yesterday. A few days after my period, my boobs started getting sore, the one that's pierced shoots out liquid in a hard spray like flow over and over again when squeezed repeatedly (it only normally does that right before my period and one time every so often, not anytime I squeeze it), I've been super moody, emotional, and irritable, having light headaches, lower back aches, and my dog has become much more protective of me to the point my bf (who is his daddy) can barely speak to me without Jax getting up and barking at him incessantly. He usually only does it if we are arguing/showing aggression to one another or one of us raises our voice to the other. But I got my period two days ago (and it's already done.) My periods are very light. They've always been 1 - 2 days tops.
So I want to know how many of you got pregnant and didn't know it, still had your next period and then found out you were pregnant? And, how far along were you when you found out, and that was how long after your last period (the one that you know you got pregnant before?)
I read recently that a lot of women will still have their next period after they get pregnant. I tell you all the other details of my symptoms to see if they sound like pregnancy symptoms. I've only felt kinda sick a couple days this whole last month but I've not thrown up or anything, just felt a little blah right after waking up from a 12hr+ sleep. But 12 hours is normal for me. It's equivalent to your 8hrs. (Yes, I've basically slept like a pregnant woman my entire life!)
I know you can't really find out from a test if your pregnant until 5 days before your missed period but I didn't miss mine. What's the deal? Anyone have any insight for me? I'm 31 (in 12 days!) and I've never been pregnant before so I don't know anything about how I might feel if I were. I'm kinda worried bc financially, I'm in no way shape or form capable, but I'm also kinda like ok w/ it because I'm certainly old enough and I've always wanted children, just never TTC because I'm not married yet and wanted to be when I had kids. Thank you so much in advance for your thoughts, answers, and any advice! It is TRULY appreciated! 😘💕💘💕😘
