How often is everyone's appointments?

I'm 35 weeks and my doc still only has me on monthly appointments. I was 32 weeks my last appointment and I'll be 36 weeks on my next appointment and then have a scheduled C-section when I'm 39 weeks. I have a friend that has bin going in once a week since she hit 37 weeks and I have heard of many other girls going in at least twice a month. Am I the only one that's not getting bumped up on checkups?
