labor??? or am I overthinking

I recently found out that my baby (31 weeks today) is wanting to come out any day now, i had heavy bleeding last week and was giving steroid shots to boost his lungs, now.  I had went for a very short walk tonight and mid way i had terrible sharp pain in my lower stomach it lasted almost 2 hours even after layinf down , i also had mild back pains during and after this. Also today i have seem more cm like usual and it looks a bit different then normal, my thought right away was mucus plug but then i thought i was overthinking but could i be right? My baby is already in position and feelig lots of movement right by my pupic area and hurts!!! Could someone please help me out this is also my first child !
