Hello to all the mommies on here :)

So my partner is currently carrying our twins and they spotted what could be dilation along with contractions . the only thing is that she is still only 29 weeks so were trying to keep these babies in as long as possible. The doctor ordered a magnesium transfusion to be done next and listed all the scary side effects. Has anyone else had this done? If so how long was it till you delivered after?

The facts:

Cervix looks like .5 and dilation .8 . she has a pessary in place, on progesterone shots, received the steroid shot and on 20 mg of procardia every 4 hours .
