Kick count 😕 ???

Question

So I see a lot of post about movement. I'm currently 27 wks, yet my dodctor hasn't mentioned me counting movements/kicks...

Where can I get this information? How man per minute? Ladies, help! 😯😥😰

Not everyone recommends kick counts. Mine doesn't. It can create unnecessary stress. Also, some say you should count 10 kicks per two hours, but at my hospital they recommend 3 kicks per hour. Not to mention, all babies are different. My baby will go hours without kicking, and then kick like 25 times in one hour. So it just varies. If you really want to count there are good apps that help you keep track of your counts usually with the most common 10 kicks per 2 hours. Keep in mind it's not just kicks that you count. Any movement except hiccups can be counted. You can tell hiccups as they are more rythmic. Hope this helps!

Oh, and before you start counting you should drink cold juice or have a snack and then sit back and relax. Some people recommend you lay on your left side.

I would look on the Internet for the correct amount of kick counts for your country. I think it's slightly different for Canada, the states, GB and Australia.

As long as you can count 10 kicks within 2 hours youre good. 30 weeks is when they told me

There is a good charity called kicks count they are on Facebook and if you google kicks count it comes up they also have an app where you press a button everytime it counts your kicks
