To co sleep or not to co sleep.

Please give me some feed back. I want to co sleep for at least the first few months im scared of sids what new mother or any mother at that isnt? I also am going to be breast feeding and have a 9 year who sleeps in the room next to my sons so I dont want him waking her up. What are you going to do and feel free to explain. Those are my reasons of considering it to feel like I can protect him better.
